Yum! Friday night one of my daughter's and I went out to Blackbirds Artisian Bakery to taste Carolyn, head chefs work and it was delectable. Carolyn has a special way of combining foods that compliment and bring out flavours that you wouldn't expect with the combination. This is why I have chosen to work with Blackbirds with our menu. Everything that is used in the cafe is of the finest quality and coming from a health background, this is very important for me, my family and my customers.
I have always been very careful with the types of food I and my family eat because of intolerance reasons. I have never had any of the old affects that I used to get with Carolyn's food.
She uses French flour, ingredients from her own farm and neighbours farms. All food comes from the slow food theory. There is no rushing anything that comes from here. It's the old style of cooking and baking. As you can see here, we have a variety of muffins as part of the range.
